WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Composite Fabrication Team, the Composite Layup Technician (Afternoon Shift) will work alongside team members to construct carbon fiber parts for an award-winning aircraft. This is a great job for you if you are looking for a career you can grow with. Other duties may include:

• Assist in the preparation of molds and forms
• Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materials
• Lay-up composite materials following directions and instructions
• Vacuum bag parts for oven cure
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Able to work as part of a team to ensure meeting quality standards
• High standards for following instructions, work quality and productivity
• Some lifting may be required
• Able to stand for the majority of a shift in addition to moving about the facility to support the work
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Authorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the future
